Day 1:


On arrival in Entebbe, you will be met at the airport by a Jehovah Tours representative and transfer to Speke Hotel for overnight on BB Basis

Kampala the Capital was originally built on seven hills, where each of the hills had a symbolic structure like a hospital, school, cathedral mosque or temple. If you Arrive in the afternoon, you will have the chance to tour Kampala the capital.

Speke Hotel, situated right in the heart of Kampala with a 24 hour forex bureau is a good spot for even an evening hang out yet quiet and conducive enough for a relaxation through the night.

Day 2

After an early morning Breakfast, you will transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park via Kabale or Rukungiri. With the endangered mountain gorillas, almost half of the population is found in Uganda. This exciting journey will make a stopover at the Equator for experiments, drive further through a lot of green scenery, African fruit roadside markets all combined give an ambiance a true African pearl as referred to by Churchill.  Arriving in the evening at your lodge for a short relaxation if you are using the road. The option of flying will give you the opportunity to do a warm-up nature walk in the forest.  O/N L. Kitandatra Tented Camp on HB Basis

L. Kitandatra Tented Camp is situated jut a few meters from the park headquarters. This gives an opportunity also of making a village walk in the evening or relaxing at their spacious bar lounge

Day 3

You will be driven to the National Parks headquarters after breakfast to meet your guides for the day for your gorilla trekking experience. An early morning trek into the forest on the slopes of the volcanoes, led by experienced trackers, will bring you amongst a family of Mountain Gorillas. These massive primates are extremely rare, with only approximately 750 remaining. Just a few meters from the family, you will be privileged to spend time with them. Time permitting, return to the camp for a late lunch with the opportunity of forest walks with the guides, or just to relax at your lodge. O/N L. Kitandatra Tented Camp on FB Basis

Please note: Trekking and overnight may take place in Rwanda.
The trekking may be fairly tiresome. 30minutes, up to six hours or longer is not uncommon – at relatively high altitudes. Mountain Uganda Gorillas are wild animals and, as such, sightings cannot be guaranteed. The success rate however is well over 90%.

Day 4

There is an option of Forest walk where you will get a chance to meet the indigenous Batwa community that lives in the family of gatherers similar to bush men in the Karihari desert. This gives you an experience of a dance and their shy playing and way of life or Second Gorilla Trekking with pre-purchased permits that can either be done in Bwindi or Rwanda. O/N L. Day 5

After breakfast, drive to Lake Mburo National Park, approximately 5 hours from Bwindi. Lunch will be served in Mbarara town and then transfer to Mburo park. Enjoy an afternoon game drive, a boat cruise on Lake Mburo, or a walk with a local guide or a night game drive.  O/N Acadia Cottages on FB Basis

Lake Mburo National Park, which is 260 square kilometers in size, was gazetted in 1982 as Uganda’s fourth national park. It is composed primarily of grassland, wetland and acacia woodland habitats. At the centre of the park lies Lake Mburo which, together with 14 other lakes in the area, forms part of an extensive wetland system. The park is home to topi, eland, klipspringer, zebra, buffalo, oribi, sitatunga, and leopard as well as an excellent variety of water and acacia savannah bird species like crested crane, marabou stork and bronze-tailed starling.

Day 6

After a good breakfast, a short walking safari in the park with a ranger guide is ideal before driving off to Kampala. Stopover at the Equator if need be for another experience and on the fruit markets on the road side. Arriving late in the afternoon with an option of Curio shopping. Please note that: Accommodation on this day will be booked on request, those who have flights in late evening would be transferred to the Airport and end of the trip.
