This Golf/Gorilla Trekking Safari is combined with the best destinations Uganda has to offer. It will take you to Jinja in the East, Kibaale forest National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Mburo National Park in the western part of the country.

Detailed Itinerary

01: Arrive in Entebbe
Our English speaking driver guide will pick you upon your arrival at Entebbe Airport, meet great and then transfer to your hotel for relaxation. Dinner at leisure with the beautiful ambience of Uganda bearing in mind that you are almost in the middle of the world, close to the equator. 02: Transfer to Jinja Town and Golfing
after breakfast, you will then transfer to Jinja town, one of the oldest towns with pre-colonial setting. The journey takes you through small towns and fruit markets, Mabira rain Forest one of the remaining tropical rain forests, tea and sugar cane plantations before you reach Jinja town which is home of the source of the river Nile. Spend the afternoon golfing just close to the Nile as it starts its journey to the Mediterranean Sea. Retire to your hotel late in the evening for overnight. 03: White Water Rafting or Source of the Nile
Today after a refreshing night, you will get an opportunity to experience either a half day or full day thrill of white water rafting along the water stretches of the Nile River. The Nile is the longest river in the world draining into the Mediterranean Sea and heavily important to countries like Sudan, Egypt. Lunch will be served on the banks of the river and there after either continue with the rafting or transfer to the source of the Nile for a boat ride to the actual source of the nile where the river separates from the Lake. 04: Drive to Kibaale National Park
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Kibaale national park through Fort Portal by road from Jinja. Expect to see beautiful green tea estates, forests and lots of markets arriving in Fort portal in time for lunch. After lunch, you will then transfer within Kibaale Forest National Park is an area known as the Bigodi Wetlands; this is a community tourism initiative established to protect the Magombe Swamp. The papyrus chocked wetland is home to an incredible diversity of wildlife including 8 primate species, and 140 species of bird. Later on in the day, take time to visit the Bigodi Wetlands bird and primate sanctuary. 05: Chimpanzee tracking or Habituation
After an early morning breakfast, either you will go for Chimpanzee habituation experience which starts at 06:00hrs takes the entire day with the chimpanzees and would require packed lunch (Recommended) or the normal chimpanzee tracking that starts at 08:00 hrs. Those takes up to 6 hours and spend the afternoon at leisure in your lodge. During this walk, you will have a very good chance of seeing many of the 13 primate species native to Kibaale Forest National Park. Take advantage of the vast experience your tour guides have about the forests and they will be in position to answer most of your questions. In either options you will transfer to the lodge ready for a refreshing dinner and relaxation. 06: Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, you will depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park. You should be prepared for some incredible scenery along the way. This park protects 200km of Rift Valley Savanna, interspersed with patches of forest and crater lakes, an idea location for a safari. You will arrive in the Park in time for lunch and an afternoon safari or boat cruise/ launch along the beautiful Kazinga channel. The is a great location for photography, bird watching, or game viewing with such diversity of life supported by the channel; including hippos, water birds, elephants, buffaloes, Nile crocodiles and the occasional leopard. Day 07: Kyambura Gorge Walk
The Kyambura Gorge will be your amazing surprise of the day. This 100m deep gorge is drained by the Kyambura River creating a micro-climate that supports a dense tropical forest, very different to the savannah landscape that surrounds the gorge. Take a trek into this gorge which is home to an incredible diversity of wildlife, including groups of wild chimpanzees which you might be lucky enough to see. In the afternoon, your driver/guide will show you around the highlights of Queen Elizabeth National Park especially the crater area, giving you a chance to enjoy some of Uganda’s finest game viewing. . 08: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast, you will be driven through the Western Highlands of Uganda onto Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You can go through Ishasha sector, Queen Elizabeth park in search for tree climbing lions if see it is such a rewarding experience all together. Proceed later to Savannah resort for lunch and proceed later to Bwindi impenetrable national park arriving in the evening.  Depending on when you arrive there should be time for an evening walk in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. O/N Gorilla Forest Camp, Gorilla lodge, Clouds lodge (luxury) Gorilla Resort/ Silverback Lodge (Mid-range) on Full Board Basis

09: Gorilla Trekking
In the morning after a light breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters, you will be briefed about the tracking experience and then later start the tracking. This experience takes between one hour to nine hours depending on how far the gorillas have moved in search for food. You spend one hour with the gorillas as a rewarding experience. You will be required to pack lunch, drinking water and also carry a walking. For those that cannot be able to walk for a long distance, there are porters that carry you to the gorillas and back at an extra fee between $200 to $300 depending on the family and the distance to move. So get ready for a Uganda Safari experience of a life time. The experienced trackers will guide you on the tour and bring you amongst a family of mountain gorillas. The incredible primates are extremely rare; with only approximately 720 remaining in the wild very few people in the world are lucky enough to see them in their natural habitat. After your gorilla trek you will return to the camp. If time allows, you will take a walk in the nearby community/Village. 10: Lake Mburo National Park
In the morning after breakfast, you will be transferred to Lake Mburo through Mbarara town, amazing landscape, great people and lots of fruit markets arriving in time for lunch at Igongo Cultural center. As you wait for lunch served with African dishes, the exposure of the western cultures at the museum is a worth the stopover. Proceed later to Lake Mburo park the smallest savannah national park in Uganda with Ankole long horned cattle co-existing with the park. Lunch will be served on arrival and later transfer to the lake for an interesting boat cruise where lots of species of birds and game viewing will be a rewarding experience. 11: Walking safari and Cultural Show
After breakfast, you will enjoy a walking safari done only in two national parks in Uganda. This experience brings you closer to the animals than a game drive and the sunrise in the jungle is an experience not comparable to any experience. Drive later to the Equator in time for lunch, experiments and good craft shopping; proceed to Kampala arriving later in the afternoon. A Kampala City tour and then later go for the Cultural show in the evening where you will also have dinner. Here at Ndere center, they perform every cultural show in Uganda all in one. Return later to your hotel for overnight. . 11: Departure
After breakfast, This morning you will do shopping and then later transfer to  Entebbe for your next flight out.
