Tour summary

Day 1: Welcome to Uganda – Arrival at Entebbe International Airport.

Day 2: Entebbe/ Kampala – You will get orientation sessions on the major activities on the tour.

Days 3 & 4: Kampala – You will meet the various tourism personnel working in the government and other related bodies and visit tourist attractions.

Days 5-8: Fort Portal – You will get briefing with hotel and attraction managers before taking visits to community tourism projects. There is chimp tracking which is optional but will require an additional USD $150.

Days 9-10: You will head to Queen Elizabeth national park where you will take a game drive and a launch. There will be access to park study facilities and the development of the neighbouring park communities.

Days 11-13: You will then travel to the south western part of the country for a mouth watering adventure that includes optional gorilla tracking (additional USD $500)

Day 14: You will explore hotel management, business and domestic tourism in Mbarara before embarking on a return journey to Kampala via the equator.

Day 15: You will have your last engagements before flying back home.

Days 16-21: When all the work is done, you will enjoy a short holiday taking you to Murchison Falls national park for an adventurous game drive and river Nile cruise. You will then travel to Jinja regarded as the adventure capital of Uganda with activities that include quad biking, kayaking, bungee jumping, white water rafting, horse riding and many other activities at an additional cost.


Study tour: $2130 per person

Optional holiday extension: $1425 per person

This includes:

  • Professional programme organised for speakers, academic activities and visits.
  • Budget shared accommodation facilities like safari tents and dormitories.
  • Full board of 3 meals a day and mineral water when going for long journeys.
  • Full time tour guide and site guides.
  • Private driver and vehicle.
  • All entrance fees and activities are included in this programme.
  • Limit of one large or small suitcase/ bag per person.

  • Travel insurance
  • Vaccinations and anti malarials
  • Gorilla tracking permits ($500 pp) plus additional transport costs shared by those going. Est. $75 per person
